Why did I receive a ticket when I was feeding the meter throughout the day?

- Although many believe you may feed a meter all day, the City of Pittsburgh Ordinance #543.04 states that you may only park at a meter for the amount of time the meter allows. Feeding a meter longer than that allotted time warrants a ticket for the violation of “Overtime Parking”.
- If you believe that the meter was malfunctioning, you must appeal the ticket in Pittsburgh Parking Couty.
