How can I replace a parking permit for a new vehicle?

You must return your old permit, and present your new car registration
- If you scrape off the permit and return it to the Pittsburgh Parking Authority, your replacement permit will be free.
- If you do not scrape off your permit, and your license plate number is the same, there is a $5.00 replacement fee.
- If you do not scrape off your permit, and your license plate number is different, you need a notarized letter stating that you did not scrape off your permit. There is also a $5.00 replacement fee.
