How can I purchase a Residential Parking Permit or a Visitor’s Pass?

To purchase a Residential Parking Permit or Visitor’s Pass, one can either walk in to the office location or mail in their application.

    • The hours of operation for the office are Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4 PM.

The following documents are required to purchase a residential Parking Permit or Visitor’s Pass:

  1. Proof of Residency (only one option of residency proof is required):
    • Current lease with name and address on it and signed by tenant and landlord.
    • Current utility bill with your name and address on it (with payment tab attached). No water, sewer or cell phone bills will be accepted.
    • A Notarized letter from your landlord or homeowner with name and address on it.
    • Sublease: If you sublease, you need a Notarized letter from your landlord or a sublease agreement stating that you live there and who moved.

Proof of Car Registration

    • No vehicle titles will be accepted.
    • Out of state registration is accepted.
    • Current car registration; car must be registered in your name or a relative’s with the SAME last name. (If the last name on the registration is the same, NO notarized letter will be needed).
    • A notarized letter will be required if the name on the car registration is not yours.
    • A notarized letter will be required if the car is registered in a business name.
    • Notarized letters must come from the person or company that the car is registered to, it must state your name, relationship to and vehicle information, and it must also state that you have exclusive use of the vehicle.

Driver’s License: Current & Valid

    • Current and valid driver’s licenses or learner’s permits.
    • Current out-of-state driver’s licenses are acceptable

Payment

    • If you walk into the office, we accept checks, money orders, cash, Visa or MasterCard. We cannot make a credit card transaction for $1.00 or less.
    • If you mail into our office, we accept checks or money orders. Do not send cash through the mail.

A notarized letter may be required if one or more of the following applies to you:

    • Car registration is not in your name (same last name is accepted)
    • Vehicles with the gross weight of 6,000 lbs or greater
    • Car is registered to a business or company
    • A business giving an employee rights to a permit (must qualify)
    • Additional situations may require a notarized letter as well
  • The cost of a Residential Parking Permit is $20.00 per vehicle per program per year (not calendar year).
  • The cost to purchase a Visitor’s Parking Pass is $1.00 per address.
    • Only one can be purchased per address.
